Ground A1 through R5
#1
Just wondering about grounding A1? It's shown on the circuit diagram but not the illustration.

So - to ground or not to ground?...

A1 is not used for anything and if you ground it, you will not change anything. Where in the documentation did you find that A1 is grounded?

I mean the PDF in the 'DOCUMENTATION' folder - miniE software v1.2 Documentation.pdf

R5                                 20 kΩ Resistor (0207/10; OPTIONAL)

Hmm. This is not any longer in the main documentation. You must use an old document! Please download the newest one from GitHub: https://github.com/airiclenz/miniEngine1

Anyways - A1 was brought out on the shield for possible additional features that would require analog or digital capabilities (e.g. measuring voltages). Don't bother grounding it.

Page 16 in the in miniE software v1.2 Documentation.pdf - from the Github link. It's definitely still there…

Thanks for the clarification. Hopefully get everything working today - fingers crossed Tongue
