Hi All,

Just as a follow up on one of my past posts on this tread - I've finally managed to upgrade my website and have added a page about the MiniE Shield.

My wife and I have recently had a baby, so time to get out with the kit has been hard to come by, however, I've managed to get out this week for three short clips in different locations around the north west of Lancashire.

Hope the blog may be useful and the footage is nice to watch.

My Site with blog (under Photo & Video) > www.shiltonphoto.co.uk
Most recent time lapses > vimeo.com/99218473

PS: Still early days on the time lapse footage - locations are not difficult to find around my area of the county, however I found that finding the right location to place the rail the difficulty - finding somewhere that will show of the perspective changes that you cant get from a static camera were the aim, but do not always work as well as expected.

Every trip out is a learning experience! :-)

this is not the miniEngine. The mx2 used regular DC motors and its shot-repeat-ability is awful (basically not existing).

yes it uses a dc motor.
MX2 has SMS mode and it work fine for me. i think at the and with 30fps you wouldnt be able to see that it moves 1,24mm or 1,3mm per step.

anyway, i am looking for another controler. yours looks fine. i am not familar with electronic devices so it is hard stuff for me.

i just wanted to show my slider in this thread.

Well you did and I appreciate that! Is your slider based on the solution offered by Dynamic Perception or is it a DIY solution?
